Not quite Steve, a garage is usually attached to the house and therefore still in direct communication with the house.
A shed on the other hand deals with that issue.
I took my bike out of the shed and washed it after the weekends adventure.
My shed's just out of earshot, so I'm told.

Today in the shed I attempted to pull all of my tools into one place for inspection. I found many tools that I have no idea where I got them, or when, or why. They won't bring much at the garage sale this next weekend.

A neighbor kid, 10 years, brought over his tool box, but he had little in the way of tools. I gave him a few and will probably give him more.

I sure wish I had grown up next to you, Duane!

Your shed is big enough to be a home! Just needs a couple of big doors!
My garage is attached but will always be known as the shed. I do have a garden shed that has a few bits in it. Nuthin' like the firemans sheds though. He has a network!

To do: Turn signal indicator doesn't work on the R90. Front brake light switch doesn't work on the R65. Small things.
Brad, you would believe how long I rode relying on the rear brake light switch.
My Triumph doesn't have a front brake light switch. My R65's rear one doesn't work (I have a new one, if I ever get bored enough.). Good thing I use both brakes when I want to stop.

Oh shed: my shop is detached, and at 1200 square feet is almost the same size as my house. I could easily live in a smaller house but frequently want a bigger shop.

My deck is bigger than my shop and my shop is bigger than my house. One must establish these priorities up front. After all, I built the house working out of the shop.

If you were a Kiwi, I'd understand you bragging about the size of your deck!!!

Yes! No use for a deck here though, with 9 months of rain per year. A porch would be nice but when I want to hang out I sit under the carport. Which is attached to the shop.

It's a running joke. My wife said she wished I had a bigger dick and I misunderstood her. Hence the big deck.
