Still on sale.....how much is 199 EUR anyway?
I installed one of those on a customer's bike. I can't say that it will be problematic for certain, but that style (spacer with modifications to fit an external filter) at minimum introduces some potential areas of failure. Maybe a bit of chicken little syndrome, but I would never run one of those on any of my bikes.

199 Euro is about $280 US, but just wait a few more days and the exchange rate may get even better as people flee the Euro for the USD. That is jumping from one cancer to another cancer.

Money exchange rate calculator (one of many): http://www.xe.com/ucc/

Still $260 almost 24 hours later! Remarkable!

Oops, I was operating from my dim memory of only a few days ago.

Face it, the Euro is dead and twisting in the wind waiting for the coroner to officially pronounce death. Then dozens of economists will write books about the cause. Nobody will notice that it died from the same exact cause predicted by the Austrian School of Economics several years before anybody thought that there could be a problem.

The crisis of 2008 was also predicted by the same bunch. The economic philosophy that Dr. Ron Paul espouses.

Anybody notice? Anybody care? Only one economic philosophy is based on science. Should we take notice and consider it? Naw, to much trouble.

Maybe next X-mas, when then dollar rebounds And the Euro falls. Let's make a note to check in on this thread next year.
199=$260 on 12/23/11
