What's your favourite curry Grant? If I put my mind it to it I can do a mean curry!
Me no curry man Steve!!, sorry but especially not when camping, no dunny and all wrapped up in a sleeping bag inside a small tent. One small fart and I'd shit the bed and to many zips to make a quick escape....
Talk to you soon
You're just eatin' the wrong curry! I can do mild creamy chicken if'n y'want? Vegies/rice already in there...no other prep than to just heat it.
If it's cold, the flatulence might just make the difference inside the sleeping bag...intermittent ducted heating at 37C

Are the Aldi tents fireproof? I'm setting my tent up at a distance to be safe.Maybe no firewood? Jeff promised me Darwin warm!!!! Looks like I'll have to bring a shovel to bury my $hit and a chainsaw to cut my own Darwin warm. I could pack the clubs for 9 holes at the country club. Do you think they have a dress code?

All good Steve as long as its not spicy hot.....Sounds good the chicken to BTW, I'll still bring my thermos full of hot steaming footy frankfurters just as a back up and also for for midnight munchies!!

OK. It'll be spicy, but not hot. That's how we have it if I make it for the family. I can also get some sambal, to add after heating for HOT if needed.
She'llbe, I don't think they're fireproof, but I'd me more concerned about its ability at altitude as it floats away like a hot air balloon! Best bring the heavy duty tent stakes.

She'llbe, your braided whiskers and Polite cap will get you in anywhere. If anything, you might be overdressed for Talbingo.
ps: There are longdrop dunnies at the campsite and a nice mountain stream to wash in. It'll prolly be thawed out by then. And don't you go worrying about the firewood. In the worst case, we'll burn the dunnies or an RS or somethin'.

The Talbingo supermarket is open to 1830 on Saturday, and they do have a bottle shop.
The kind lady took my phone number and will give it to the local bloke that can do a trailer of wood for us.
What should I ask for?

Jesus Charlie don't go insulting the RS contingent like that
but I did hear once that beautifully handcrafted canvas panniers burn and then glow for hours on end when smeared and stuffed with hot chicken curry paste

Haha...talking about glowing for hours...anyone got an ol'd chunk of vw engine case they want to bring along on the back seat?
How much do we want to spend on a load of wood?

Firewood costs??
If everyone threw in $10 or $20 dollars that should cover it I guess for a good sqm of wood? what type of wood?
I pay $135.00 for a sqm of red gum down here for the workshop and bloody hell it burn nice and hot...
They are ripping up the old railway line in places along outside my shed, if I pack the bike correct I could strap on a couple of 8' sleepers along side my chair and tent.

I wonder if the yanks look in here, to see the general ratbaggery going on.
I'll go and see the local VeeDub bloke about a bit of crankcase. I haven't been in there since about 1983, but I'm sure he'll remember me if I show him this -
It just turned up today. An old friend found the photo and had it digitised for me. I'm having all sorts of flashbacks.
