Well, as my post implies, the number one principle is: only change one thing at a time.

But that's an important point to loop ocky's on, or thongs (flip flops f'youse guys!)



With motion, and therefore breeze, the thongs might partially obstruct the number plate from those pesky cameras too!

Did a bit of retuning on the front-end, emulators backed off 3/4 turn.
Telefix still off.
It actually felt less planted than last weekend. However I'd bumped up the tire pressuer to 31/33.
Coming back down the mountain I tried lowering the pressure a couple pounds and it seemed to react better.

Still needs some tweekin'. I compressed the forks and measured the full throw. It's appx 83mm. Static sag with me on it is appx 33mm.
Seems like too much to me but the Race Tech fellow insists it's a good sag.

Yes, bought this bike from Ken...

I had the forks torn down again so this time I very methodically di the Telefix install from scratch so to speak. Took me the better part of 1/2 an hour to get everything 'just so' to where the sliders would not bind and the axle would slid in and out easily. There can definitely be binding if you don't pay close attention as you tighten down the clamp screws and/or two main bolts.
Now I know, it's not as simple easy as it's been said to be.

I believe it is a Telefix (not Telix) fork brace.
I used one long ago on a Kawasaki. When properly installed, it didn't cause problems.
