Rode home from work at 4:30am - it was 55F/13C. Felt good! I need to see how my bar covers will fit on this bike.
It's going in Tuesday for it's 600 mile check-up. Then I can begin to explore the outer limits!
This CBR250R reminds me a lot of another Honda single I owned briefly:
except being vastly more practical. Granted the Dream 50 kicks ass for a 49cc engine, but that's just compared to other bikes it's own size. Full-time woodie riding it, that's for sure. Not a practical commuter though.
I can't wait for my overnight trip coming up. I'm getting much more comfortable on the bike, and I am having the dealer install my Yoshimura rear-sets while it is in there. They are a pretty simple (and affordable) set-up, really, just a couple of castings that moves the controls rearward and upward, with two choices of height. I'm starting out on the lower setting.
The reason I am having the dealer do it is because there is surgery required for a "return line" to the [remote] reservoir, which will require not spilling brake fluid and getting the rear brake properly bled.
The passenger pegs are not even close to a choice for resting ones feet, like on an airhead.

Any and all disclaimers may apply

My feet want to be back there.
They did on the R65, too, but that was a much more expensive proposition.
