No problems there at all, Neil, but thanks for your concern.
I did worry about that when designing these bags and made the inboard hanging strap adjustable, just in case. The bottoms of the bag are 40mm above the mufflers at rest - pretty similar to normal hard panniers. With me on board that clearance increases.

Brunhilde looks superb Charlie.

Far better off drying it before leaving Steve. Saves the worry of it blowing off the racks on the way there.
