Ahoy Pete, I'm going to meet Charlie at his place at 4pm.

It's dirt from Cheshunt across to Lake Buffalo but it can be raced, in parts
It can be a little rough in other parts.

Jim from Beechworth has stalled with the front end off, waiting to do steering head bearings.
Quite possibly waiting for someone to weld out the bearing shells.... :?

Absolutely glorious spring day here right now. I'll be leaving in 15 minutes to meet Ontic at Boonie Doon roadhouse. Lake Eildon was empty, with just a trickle 18 months ago.

Then we plan to trace DucatiPetes tyres via Dandongadale.

Thanks OZ Boxerworkers for another most enjoyable gathering, man I love this country.

Being able to do what we've done this weekend is simply amazing, the mountain roads are nothing short of world class.
There were a few bikes out and about this weekend but mostly it's very light traffic through the hills which makes them just so much more enjoyable.

A good group of blokes have come together as a result of this forum, and I believe we enjoy each others company very much.
Much laughter and good vibes made for a perfect atmosphere (again)

Thanks also to Maija and Alf for allowing us to invade their home for a couple of nights.

Tintalrda, on the Upper Murray river.

The camp site.

A large group out for a day ride, all sorts of bikes.
We told them to fuck off because we were going to park our bikes there.

Most of us, unfortunately Hans was not captured in the pic however his elbow was.

Another fabulous weekend. Thanks all. Nice pics, Jeff.
We are indeed fortunate to have such good ridin' roads and to be able to exercise such freedom.
I hope everyone makes it home safely. Looking forward to the next one.

Just got back too. Thanks fellas for organising it all, it was great.
Don't worry about the photo Jeff, all I need is an elbow (and it keeps me a bit mysterious).

I was a bit starved, then suddenly full, then very very tired last night.
Two full days of excellent riding- we really are lucky with what we've got.

After a weekend of full sun, plenty of bugs and a coating of dust, this afternoon the sky was kind enough to drop a good dose of water upon us, give my bike a good wash and make me regret not putting on my waterproof under-liners...
All toasty and warm now and looking forward to a hot soak in the bath,

thanks guys,
see you next time,

I'm home safe and sound.

Here's the campground, a little subdued...maybe it was the egg and bacon breakfast? It was a terrific weekend...the rides, the weather, the company, the beer, the entertainment...thanks lads.

Clickrty, click..

Home at about 4PM, no problems at all.
Thanks for a wonderful weekend, and three days of fabulous riding in perfect weather.

It's great catching up with you blokes, and I'm looking forward to the autumn run.

Got back home safely just after lunch after a great couple of days riding.
The Birthday Party was high on socialising, well victualled by Alf and Maija. ... but low on formality, despite efforts to set a dress standard!... The birthday cake stayed virtual, and Grant was toasted as the originator of the idea but didn't manage to make it! Thanks Grant ... I think you have established a precedent!
