I've been shanghai'd by another mate of Sibbo's, who happens to have a bottle of the world's finest scotch (Glendronach) into staying Saturday night in the hinterland.... and I wouldn't mind catching up with another mate of Sibbo's (Gary).

What time on Sunday are you guys departing Guyra?

I have to leave real early to get home as my youngest daughter is coming up by train to see me. I need to be home by 1pm at the latest.

Correct Doug - try to avoid sneezing in the helmet. Not as bad as spewing, though.
The weather is looking troublesome - showers building on Friday, big rain and wind on Saturday, rain easing on Sunday. I don't mind riding in the rain, but sitting in it and cooking and so on can be tedious without cover. Perhaps we need to look at an alternative venue. The northern cousins have sensibly booked into cabin accommodation.
I'll give Jeff a call and see if he has any ideas. A nice mountain hut with fireplace would be good.

I just spoke to a local in Guyra and he said weather for the wekend is forecast as fine. This morning there it is very sunny.

If the weather is shitty and pissing rain then I am out, sorry but the thought of riding and camping in it does not really put a smile on my face... If you two would like to go somewhere closer in your area, I completely understand but a 5 hr ride from here just to get up to your place with a cold, wet teenage son on board does not sounding overly fun at this stage.....

I just had a fella come in the workshop and say that there is 150mm of rain coming over the weekend in Victoria, I will be watching the weather radar but will have to make our minds up Thursday night I suppose!!
