I saw your packaging Duane. Impressively thoughtful, protective and efficient.

Gidday,
Front end went back in over the weekend, yes I stumbled my way through it rebuilding the forks with new chrome stanchions thanks to Duane, new rubbers seals, crush washers and internal nylon stoppers etc. plus I added some fork gaiters.
The front and rear brake callipers also received a much needed rebuild and freshen up, a new rear stainless braided line going on the rear Brembo and now to bleed then up after some much needed discussions about the procedure with SteveD and the reverse bleed technique.
This coming weekend I will have a go at the new wiring loom install, wait and see.

Pay attention to keeping the wiring loom straight and not twisted up. I am trying to remember the slang name for the goop that we put on the wiring portion that gets pulled through the rear frame section. It is made to lube up wiring for pulling through narrow places.
You shop looks great too.

GIdday Duane,
Will do, something I will watch out for, I have to relabel all the old loom first so I know what goes where etc.
I have found a few good websites and pages with great info on to help me along, I shall take my time with it.
This page is a bonus to look at:

This is the stuff I use. "Cable Pulling Lubricant" or "Cable Pulling Gel" seem the be the most common terms. The big home stores all carry it.

We use that stuff by the buckets at work. (electrician)
For home projects, I use a little liquid dish soap, if need be. That
way, one doesn't have a whole bottle full of the stuff sitting on the
shelf for years and years.

Gidday,
Bled the rear Brembo brakes up last night using the reversed bleed method with syringe and tube as suggested by SteveD.
The brake pedal came up nice and firm, but a road test is needed no doubt.
It procedure was very easy and quick to do, I'm surprised this is not recommended and used more by others, and will be so easy to do a fluid change once a year from now on..

I use a Harbor Fright brake bleeder. Works great. Makes all brake bleeding a
cake walk. Got it on sale for about 25 bucks U.S.
