My old R80RT (Mono) off the road since 2008, undergoing resurrection from a series of plastic crates.

Jobs done so far:

[*]Frame and many other bits cleaned, wasted silencer supports repaired with new sections welded in, then painted.
[*]Bevel drive replaced after cleaning due to damaged casing on the old drive.
[*]Black engine parts painted black, other parts cleaned.
[*]Engine completely rebuilt from scratch - New mains, cam chain, Piston rings - all other parameters checked.
[*]Oil supplt to rockers checked and good.
[*]Gearbox cleaned and installed... It seemed OK last time the bike was on the road so I've taken the risk
[*]Rear suspension reinstalled and ready to go.
[*]Front steering and suspension cleaned, new fork oil seals. all installed and tightened up - just awaiting fork oil.
[*]Main stand strengthened and repaired. New bushes and springs.
[*]Loom installed and partly connected

Still a lot left to do but, at least it looks a bit like a bike now.

It's looking very much like a bike, Rob. Much more so than the spare '74 R90 lurking in my shed:

It is in almost as many separate bits as a bike can be. I've built a couple of wooden boats by simply starting with one bit of wood and I know that this is how stuff happens. One day ...

Have fun, and best of luck with it all falling into place.
