G/S battery?

Remove the rear sub-frame to remove the battery? Really?This was a better alternative than a slightly smaller sized battery?
This one I don't understand.

I never unbolt the subframe on my G/S
I just unbolt the shock bolts, unscrew to flush the frame

Fully what I expected to be the case; it wasn't. On the plus side I re-mounted my shock in it's proper orientation. All that aside, it's a fun ride-no?

I don't remember All, but I never dismantle the rear subframe.
On my 77RS, 7490S and G/S I just unbolt
for the G/S It's a thick place, I've to force, but this works.
