So the ol' PD's retired for the winter.
27,000km this summer.
Snow coming tomorrow.
My last was ride a few days ago, 400km.
The bike ran absolutely perfectly, beyond reproach.
I'll change the fluids, do a bit of polishing and detailing.
Can't think of anything else to do to it.
Now I know how the Maytag repairman felt.

My bike was on fire, the road was on fire, and I was on fire.
It was the best ride ever!"

Re: Maytag repair man syndrome
I had a Maytag. After 5 years it leaked around the main seal. The main seal is the first thing they put on the bench, and then bolt everything else to it. I bought the parts and proceeded to repair before throwing it out and buying a Westinghouse.
Replacing the front crank main bearing retaining pin is easy in comparison.
