Rear drum brake
So last fall, I changed out my rear tire and had some leakage at what seemed to be the rear brake shaft in side the brake hub.
I changed out the o rings on the shaft and put it back together.
I didn't change the large seal around the wheel splines.
Bike has been working great, including the rear brakes.
But now I see lines of oil on the sidewalls of the tire.
Not a lot but, it's there, so I need to remedy this for safety.
Any thoughts?

Thanx!

I guess I'll take it apart again and change seals and gaskets. Argggggg!

Not from a loose final drive drain bolt? Worth checking before getting too serious.

Yea I'll check everything. I guess it was just running too good.

I think my problem is the level plug on the rear drive.

I checked the level, this time when at operating temperature, and some more oil came out.

I rode it some more and there was a lot less coming out.

One thing I realized is that I put a thicker copper gasket that I got in a kit.

So I put the ancient, much thinner gasket and buttoned it up.

I'll ride it again and see.
