Christmas Day Ride

This morning I started my Yamaha TT600N, only took 30-40 kicks at 17'F to get the beast running. Rode a few miles and came back home with a smile on my face, it might have just been frozen in a grin but it was good for me!
This year I have not mounted my studded tire as with the record snow fall the ice on the lake is in very poor condition an not safe to venture onto. I found without the studs that 6 inches of heavy slushy wet snow is more difficult to ride in then deep sugar sand, pulls the front tire around and make it difficult to go in a straight line.
Now that I have had my Christmas Day ride I can go back to watching birds at the feeders and drinking coffee.
