I'm hearing a persistent creak which sounds like it's coming from the front suspension. It's a creak, sometimes a squeak, that matches the moves of the forks etc when running over bumps in the road. It started a while ago as a light rattle but is much more noticeable now. The front shock shows a bit of wear and tear (i.e., the plastic coating is peeling a bit) but otherwise I can't see anything obvious. MOT in a couple of weeks so I might ask them to check, but does anyone have any suggestions?

The handling and ride are all very good.

If everything is tight and good, I think I'd spray some silicone or wd40 on one part at a time and see. The wishbone and the shock likely I guess. A squeak might represent a rubbing point? Worn bush somewhere?
