Monolever final drive...

Has anyone here rebuilt a Monolever final drive themself?
Am I nuts to consider it?

Someone posted a link showing an R80ST drive being shimmed a while back. Hopefully that will resurface.

I haven't done one but a friend did. He used a uni joint from the steering column of a DAF truck. Was still going strong years later when he sold the bike.

I believe you are thinking of the driveshaft. I am asking about the final drive (rear bevel drive).

I did that. Still no "how to" about a bevel drive. Just pictures of bikes.
