On a 'craigslist impulse purchase' I am the proud new owner of a 1993 RS. I know there were many imported but does anyone know just how many??

End of production was 1992...according to this.

http://www.bmbikes.co.uk/specpages/R100RSmono.htm

The build dates were stamped on them. My 11/1981 model has it on the steering head bracing, brake side.

That 1992 would be calendar year. This page:

http://www.bmbikes.co.uk/chassispages/e ... is1000.htm

indicates that maybe 150 R100RS were 1993 models if you count all bikes from 9/92 on.

That's a classic paint job that one, one of my favourites.

Really nice bike Pete. You are the best I've seen for coming up with tasty airheads. I'm vaguely jealous.
