Telix fork brace how too?

Know anything about Telifix fork braces?
Just did the Race Tech mod to the forks, full RT springs and all. But I have sticktion.
Loosened and re-tightened the Tele, fine. It seems like the fork wipers are causing the stickin' more than the brace...
Cleaned the wipers, they have new felt. Waxed the fork tubes.
I don't have instructions, never had one o these, at least not since my 77 RS.
Had a CC Products FB on my /7/
Is there something about these sliders that I'm not gettin'?

Did you assemble it with the forks in alignment?

Yes, checked alignment, used a pane of glass across the tubes to check that they are straight as well.
The binding seems to be coming from the wipers rather than the Telefix...

Did you check the fork tubes for parallel? The plate glass only checks on one axis (twist). The twist axis is much more flexible and one will find on most forks that it can be altered even with everything bolted tight. But if the tubes are splayed, or toeing in, that tends to be solid. That measurement can be a major contributor to stiction. You are right that seals and wipers can have an effect, but I would not worry about that until you know that the fork tubes are parallel.

The other issue I have heard of, is they sometimes clamp a little too tightly, causing the slider to compress enough to cause stiction. I don't know if it is beacuse the sliders vary or if the braces do. You can check it by slightly loosening the clamp bolts and see if the problem goes away. If that is the problem, you should be able to put a thin shim in between the halves
