Has any one used one of these air filter mods from Moorespeed? - doesn't look too difficult to make one up should they work - but 2 BHP?

Is it worth the bother for 2hp? Unless you put the bike on an accurate dyno you'll never know the difference... you'll probably get a better performance enhancement due to the lightening of your pocket than from the filter change...

He, he... Duane told someone else the biggest HP improvement a person could make on any of these bikes was to make themselves lighter; and he's right! Funny how that works; eating less costs less too and improved diet and exercise is also supposed to improve the working life of the human machine as well. - A win/win...

Dieting for horsepower, the ugly truth nobody talks about

Well, there is one thing missing from the win/win equation. That would be the pain of dieting. That's why there are so many overweight people in the world (including me). The results, at some psychological level, don't seem in practice to be worth the pain.
So the whole dieting experience would be win/loose.

Hey, I'm fine with that Ken. How about people poke fun at me for "still" being a smoker; bet that's good for a bunch of flogging...
Does mental anguish count for a reason to not quit smoking?
It IS an anti-depressant you know...
(Not that I need one - LOL...)
So I take it you're not all on board with the Michele Obama choo choo train? Yes, let's make McDonalds illegal; that'll help tremendously...

I don't car if you smoke, AS LONG AS YOU DON'T SMOKE WHILE YOU'RE ON THE BOARD!

Sure it counts dwire. It's painful to quit smoking, both mentally and physically. That's why it feels so good when you quit quitting.
I'm definitely not on Michele Obama's choo choo train. Nor the similar train of Mika Brezenski (sp?) who is the co host on the Morning Joe Show on MSNBC. More than the message of both those women I detest what I perceive as a fine arrogance. I'll even give it to them that they don't like that
gotta eat - gotta eat feeling either. But they get a greater reward, namely the admiration they receive from so many people who admire their will power.
I personally would like Mika Brezenski to take up a new cause, that is the broken lives sometimes caused by habitual alcohol intake. On the Morning Joe show Mika Brezenski often talks about her fine appreciation of vodka. I'm not terribly observant, but I'm sure I've seen her tipsy at least a couple times on the show. There's even a You Tube video which purports to show her spiking her coffee with some airline vodka while on the show.
I better quit now. I'm not too sure that my rant might not be sounding just a little bit like Michele Obama and Mika Brezenski's rants.
Ken calming down now in Oklahoma

Well, at my age, "bong riffs" while posting are out of the question... Besides, servers don't care for smoke (of ANY KIND) either my friend (nor do my human co-inhabitants!)
'Tis good you don't
"car" otherwise though - is that a "cage" joke?
Have a good holiday MS.

Ken,
Indeed there is enough hypocrisy in this World we live. Just as I contribute to the human virus that inhabits the Earth and cannot prevent that while I am here, I too can contribute to the hypocrisy a time or two, whether it is intentional or not.
Mika - ah, yeah I have stories too, won't go into it.
Michele Obama? Well refer to sentence one... I am ugly and often ignorant, neither will I likely overcome in my life; smoking, diet and the like can be modified - my nature likely cannot.
You as well enjoy your holiday weekend Sir!
