What are these indicator stalks from? - I've not seen them before.

Look like the R80 G/S items - they go under the fork top nut.

+1 for the 1981-1987 G/S.

I just discovered that they also fit a G/S which has 36 mm SJ billet top triple - just flip them over, bend the locating tab over and fit them on the other side - when the plastic cap is on you wouldn't pick the difference.
