How much oil on my boot is too much?

For the first time in my ownership, my r60/5 is depositing a few drops of oil on my left boot. Not sure if it's coming from the push rod seal (likely?) or the oil sensor (less likely). Any other potential sources? The drain plug is tight and I believe a bit aft to leak oil on the toe of my boot.

How much is too much? And should or when should I take it in to get the push rod seals replaced? I'm going to change my oil this weekend so I can monitor the level. FWIW, there is seldom oil under the bike after parking and, when present, never more than a nickel or quarter sized spot.

Unless it's Mink oil, any is too much.

Sometimes /5s will leak oil from the pushrod tubes that are pressed into the head. I had one do that when cold, but it was too far out to hit my boot. Also check to see if the pushrod tube to cylinder joint is dry, as that is in boot range.

Both of those only leak when the bike is running and usually only when cold.

Tube seal leaks don't normaly hit your boot unless it is realy pissing out.

If it helps any...my R80 has a stubborn valve cover gasket on the left side. A ride occasionally leaves a few drops of oil on the toe of my size 12 boot.
