Hi Guys,
Ron Moss, who posts here, can't log in. Here's the email he sent to me:
"Ken, hate to be a pest but I can't get on boxerworks. Had a problem with my computer and now the forum says wrong username or wrong password every time I try to get on. I've tried changing username s and passwords many times but nothing works. If you can't help would you pass his on to someone that could? I would be most grateful. Ron"
I've sent an email to Matt because, well, that's the only thing I could think of to do. Of course I know full well that he may off doing whatever stuff he does and the former webmistress isn't likely to help. Since I'm essentially incompetent when it comes to stuff like this I thought I'd throw it out here for y'all's ideas.
Ken

Rob sent me an email advising of the situation, I emailed Ron offering to help but have not heard back from him yet.
It's easy to lock yourself out of the forum, by entering a few bad passwords. If this happens, you will see the dreaded "captcha" puzzle that has to be solved before you can login. This confuses people when this happens.

Thanks to Steve, Ken, Rob, Matt and others I am now back in business. My problem was caused by a pop-up than I could not get rid of. It would not let me launch any programs or even go away when restarted. My son ( who knows more about computers than I do worked on it all one day and at mdnight came to me and said " I'm out of ideas"
Nothing left to do but format the hard drive and start over. What a pain in the butt. Spent most of yesterday and today trying to get things back to normal. Again, thanks to everyone. I'm proud to be part of such a great group.

I had something like that happen to me a couple of weeks ago and some how fumbled my way through it. Still don't know what I did to deserve it or fix it.
The sooner you get behind, the more time you'll have to catch up.
