No opportunity to get excited? I guess the K1 is kind of boring then.TURBO FOR R100 FOR POWER INCREASE
THIS HAS NEVER BEEN USED.
NO OPPORTUNITY TO GET EXCITED OR DESIRE AFTER BUYING A K1
Re: Airhead TURBO for sale.
Yeah...I know how that goes. Is this NOS Luftmeister or is someone else selling these now?Garnet wrote:No, it'll just feel like 4 grand by the time your done.mattcfish wrote: $1200 Canadian....Isn't that like $4000 US?

Re: Airhead TURBO for sale.
I once owned a R100RS with a Luftmeister turbo on it. Do you really want to make a hotrod that is nearly unrideable?
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

Prexactly. The Lufty Turbo kits were not well sorted out by either the manufacturer
or the marketing concern, and who knows the provenance of this one.
Your money would best be considered as a down payment on a mechanical / logistical nightmare
with the hope of a satisfactorily working system.
I have known people who have successfully worked it all out – just one, in fact ...
Having been the owner of a K1 – boring was never, and could never be, an appropriate adjective ....

Re: Airhead TURBO for sale.
So, you had plenty of opportunity to get excited, it sounds like. Not like the poor fellow selling the turbo. He's had no exciting opportunities lately, despite having a new K1...vanzen@rockerboxer.com wrote:Having been the owner of a K1 – boring was never, and could never be, an appropriate adjective ....
