I just bought an R100RS fairing, but on closer inspection it's a mess. Brittle plastic, mangled fitting holes, etc. It's really an end of life item.
I can buy NOS fairing parts, but these will be ancient plastic too, so that doesn't hold much appeal.
Is there anyone making replica bodywork for the R100RS?
Edit: oops, misspelling in subject

R100RS fairing - any replicas?
New to the forum, but returning BMW owner. (R75/5 1970, R75/7 1977, to K1 in 1989). Not new to making, fixing, or modifying stuff in metal or plastic. Don't need to be taught how to suck eggs, but if you've got a new way, I'm interested

Re: R100RS fairing - any replicas?
Thanks, but they only seem to do R90S type fairings. (Or am I not looking in the right place?)

They come up on E-Bay.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

After seeing the state of my eBay "bargain", I'm not going to buy another part like this off eBay. I was hoping to find someone making new fairings.dougie wrote:They come up on E-Bay.

Well, it's not an RS fairing, but it looks like the next best thing.

"Airtech Streamlining" have a very good Reputation for producing high quality reproductions.
They not only do Ducati ,Dunstall, Norton, & all Jap makes etc, but I believe they can customize anything.
Might be an idea to email " Dutch " . He's really helpful and i found him very prompt in answering
my many questions before I recently ordered an R90S fairing from them.
Note: Hes on holidays till the 25th Sept.

Pretty cool looking. It's come up here before. I wonder if a headlight could be
retro-fitted.
Edit to add: Looks so.....
