Hey Ross, yes, you can get these exact bags made in Black. Model # PK-37. Check their Website out.
They were $US 230, when I first saw them, though when I finally ordered they'd gone up to $US 280,
still a good price IMO for Made to Order Quality leather Bags,
but, then Brian only charged me $US 25 Shipping to Australia, which I thought was Ok.

Nice bags Jeff, but what keeps them on the bike (apart from the rider's bum)? Are they fastened at the lower edge too?
If I had a /5 I'd look for a set of the streamlined hard cases I've only ever seen on US bikes. I have no idea who made them...

There are 2 long leather shoe like laces mounted centrally on the edge of each bag. Brian the Company owner
Strongly recommended backing frames for safety. I will be refitting my pannier frames for my "long Distance"
Krauser type Cases, so they may be a good tie off point. The backs of the bags are covered with a thick, what looks to be a tough non abrasive rubber come plastic material. These Saddlebags will be used for everything from
Grocery shopping, to day runs, and Weekenders. As you possibly can see in the photo, both bag tops wedge hard up against
the wrap around grabrail and don't seem to want to go anywhere,... Still, I was'nt game enough to test that out on
our 300km run today. Re: Streamlined hard cases you mentioned, do you mean those Wixoms? I'm thinking
their British made.
