For gloves, I don't think these can be beat. But they are a little expensive:

But they have a built-in squeegee for wiping your face shield.
I found my last two-piece rain suit at the generic m/c supply store here in Indy. Quite dry.
The tag says Nelson-Rigg - SR-5000.
They have two two-piece suits on the 'net.
This is the less expensive of the two. It is a SR-6000, but the description is exactly the same, except mine does not have the cooling vents under each arm.

It looks like their
expensive one only comes in black, and that just doesn't suit me well when visibility is low. I have the yellow version of the SR-5000/6000.

Gloves are very fit-dependent. I have Held "Steve Gloves." They have kangaroo palms and padded backs. They are wonderful cool-weather gloves, but not adequate for below 40F unless you have heated grips and a fairing (or some other kind of hand protection).
The Steve Gloves have box fingers and are appropriate for those with large palms and thick fingers. Held has other models that fit longer thinner hands. They are not cheap, but I've had them for 4 - 5 years, I was wearing them when I got pitched over the bars on my Duc at 70 mph, and they only appear to be properly broken in. I expect another 5 years at least.
Older bodies appreciate stronger gear.

I've bought rubber or neoprene overgloves, nothing else has ever worked .
I have a set of $10 yellow vinyl fisherman's trousers which ARE waterproof and a matching coat .It's ugly and horrible and doesn't leak .

I have an Olympia 2 piece riding suit with an insulated/waterproof liner that has kept me dry in very hard rainstorms. The new Olympia 2 piece has 2 liners, one is insulated, the other is waterproof. That way you won't overheat on warm, rainy days. Not airhead funding friendly, but what's your butt worth?

There is so much good stuff these days. I have found some HJC leather and Cordura waterproof/breathable gloves that have not let me down. I think Gortex or it's equivalent is the way to go for all riding gear. Why not take advantage of this new technology? It's moe betta.

Best gloves I have ever owned, and the best
value – in spite of the price !
Comfortable, durable, and protective while allowing good "feel".
They seem to get better every year. And they do not bleed dye when wet !

I use a pair of over-gloves that are much like "dishwashing" gloves,
but made of a somewhat thicker material.
Available at industrial safety equipment supply stores,
they are large enough to fit over the Helds without xcess bulk,
completely waterproof, and an Xtra layer of wind-proof and thermal protection when needed in the cold.
Available at "air-head prices" – i.e. FREE if you know someone in the shop, eh ?
