Too expensive ($3500) but looks to be in very good original condition. (1967 Honda 305 Superhawk.)
Anyone here ever ridden one?

I was a mechanic at a Honda dealer when they were new. Great machine.
The bars are not original and the seat has been recovered with too much padding.

If it was in Oz that's a great price for a CS. Not sure re: your market. It has the oem recall wheel though (still exchangeable) and that seat would need to be comfy, 'cause it sure is ugly!

If I go for an airhead it will be smaller i.e. R65 size.
The one you pointed out is much like what I have now.
Appreciate the tip though Bob, Thanks.

I thought it looked a bit fat and high. Maybe a tall person rides it.
Easy fix?

It seems that in North America we got a lot of R100 (R)s with S fairings in the early 80s. They where just the standard 8.2 to 1 comp with drum rear brakes. I was all excited about an ultra low milage one here last spring till I realised it wasn't actually a CS.

What differences were there in the CS?

The CS was the same bike as the RS, just with a different fairing. It ran from 81 to 84 (?) and had the same compresion as the RS for your country and had a rear disc. They also had an R100CS label on the tail section rather than R100. Not many made it over to this side of the Atlantic.

It's not. I've ridden on those designs before, and they are terrible: little padding, and you are absolutely trapped in one spot. Russells look somewhat similar (though even uglier), but they are the exact opposite: the most comfortable thing you can have on the bike.
