R90 head work
Re: R90 head work
I believe it is also referred to as a 3 angle valve job.
A series of 3 cutters are used on the seat. a basic surface, a bevel sloping out to the chamber and a bevel sloping into the tract.

I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

Re: R90 head work
This on a Camaro 350, but the principle will be the same;

The LS3 head uses 60-46-30-degree multiangle finishing on the seats and a 45° on the valve faces.
Some builders use 5 angles ...
Multi angle seats promote the flow (characteristics) of fuel mix into the head.
The area of actual valve / seat interface will be important, too.
Enough area will be needed to promote heat transfer, too much area restricts flow.
