Hi Guys, my fairing arrived from Airtech yesterday and I'm alittle stumped on
proper fitment, no written guide / instructions came with it. I'm suppose to make up
the lower brackets, any help would be appreciated. Jeff.

I've not tried the airtech "S" fairing, the original fairing fits (stretches) over the turn signal stems. You might have to drill some holes and get the concentric rubber bushings that fit over the stems to make it work. I"ve used some other airtech parts and they fit like a glove. Good luck with your new fairing.

I got the R90S7 (without the Blinker mounting points ), the inside of the fairing is bare, as in
no moulded anchor points for the brackets, the complete unit cost me $400 delivered so I can't
complain, thought that was a reasonable price, there's just gonna be a bit of nutting out involved,
and I have to make up a bottom mounting bracket.

Might help.
Have a look at Tenni's pictures in the R90/6 thread put up recently.

The BMW "S" fairings have two female threaded inserts inside the fairing. With some fiberglass squares and resin it's pretty easy to mount two studs in the approximate location of the original inserts.

Note how the Headlight cutout sits well back, any non recessed headlight S fairings I've seen,
like this one, appear to sit relatively flush on the Chrome ring. I might hunt out a V profle Rubber ring
to make it seat more forward, any ideas?

I notice you have this mounted on a /5, correct? Was the fairing designed for /5? The stock S fairing was made for a /6 headlight bucket, which puts the chrome ring further back. Also /6 headlights are a larger diameter, in which case this fairing might not work for them.

If that installation is on a /5 headlight, note that the /5 headlight ears are longer than /6 ears to accomodate the longer /5 bucket ahead of the triple tree, which in turn is projecting the lens/bezel further forward in this fairing.
