I have a hankering to learn how to make these:

But possibly in a more cafe-ish shape, and probably on something British.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

I looked at the tank with a very interested eye. The fact that it's the stock shape makes me much less interested. Heck, the stock tank is great. Also, it looks like the workmanship is not very nice. For something that I assume is mass produced, it should look better than that for me to like it. I'm saying that it wouldn't interest me from what I can see in the pics.

I'm with ya there. The shape, seams, and welds are more 'cobby' and less 'sexy.' Shiny alu should be all about the sexy. I want more for my 1000 Euros.
