Monometers

I have been using my home made manometer for a while now when tuning my carbs but I was hoping someone could recommend one with nice gauges or digital display. I do this enough that I wish to invest in a little better piece of equipment. I'm tired of having to keep the liquid in the tube

I too got tired of the $4 carb syncronizer set up and learned to balance carbs by my ear, thanks in part to a bit to toutalge from Duane a few years ago at the B.works Forum Rally. Maybe he'll write it up or already has on his website...

I don't think the balancing "by ear" translates well into writing. It's the sort of thing that is best learned in person.
If I go down to Mono lake and measure the temperature, would that make my thermometer a monometer?

Only if you threw it away after taking the temperature.

I've got one of those things and it's easy to use and does the job well.

Oh well that link to the harmonizer vacuum multi-tool currently sets at about 38 pages or so of threads, read them all and at the end it says he is suspending further orders LOL. I should have read the book from back to front this time. I am still unclear on even how to order one. I suppose I will keep looking at the thread, thanks.

Hey I did find this from a buddy that frequents the suzuki forums.
http://www.carbtune.com/
It is funny because I actually talked him out of buying one when I was working on his Suzuki 4 cylinder and I told him I would build my own manometer to tune the four carbs. I tuned all four with the home made set up but I got tired of the fluid sucking into the carbs and all that mess of tubing everywhere. I want to step up a bit to more of a compact model that maybe I can take on the bike if I want.
I ordered the kit with the colortune as well. It will be neat to see the actual combustion color and maybe vary my main jet sizes some if they need it.
