Does anybody know where i can find one?
I've been on the internet hunt with no luck.

Chrome is not stock, nor is a blank, so it would be aftermarket.

Thanks guys. i talked to Chris last week. He can get them but they are special order from Germany. He didn't reveal his source other then that... and it seemed like it was difficult to order just one small part like that. I was hoping somebody in the US could get one.
Over the years, I have seen many nuts that are blank. It makes me wonder, did people just do away with their dampeners at some point?

Some (most?) later Airheads do not have the steering damper. I, too, have an unholed nut, plain steel. As it was $5 from Airhead Salvage (or whoever that guy in Texas is) I don't think it's a precious part.
It's rusty as heck, and I'll be doing something about that when I change the handlebar later this week.

You could always glue a small BMW roundel over the hole.

What I have is a "Euro" bar, but it's the /2 version and does not have a long enough grip section for my /6 controls. I have the Flanders "sidecar" bend coming--low, a tiny bit wider, and enough room for my controls and bar end mirrors. Presently, if I try to install the right bar end mirror it binds the throttle tube.

Try here...

You could weld up the hole and polish it off.

My solution to the same issue was to glue a BMW emblem over the top and that covered the hole. It stands out so much that not one single person has come up and complained that the nut wasn't chrome. Really.
