R90S bodywork on oz-ebay

Post by Mal S7 »

I have been watching an R90S tank, fairing, sidecovers, guards all NOS up for sale on ebay.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BMW-R90S-NOS ... 2624wt_119

Each item is listed seperately. A smart move by somebody, I feel sorry for anyone thats bidding, they would be sweating on winning the whole set.

In total its over $2800 so far with a day to go!

hmmm but still, a quality paint-job alone is worth ........

Amazing to have been kept in such good condition for so long.
You're right Mal about sweating on paying the most for the whole lot.

I've been watchin' that too. I wouldn't want the fairing, 'cause I'd need to do the RS fairing to match!

Just down the road in'it Jeff. Duck out and check it over fer us woodgya!

Might as well be a $million at those current bids.

The signature confirmation by the pinstriper looks like a little strange to me. Typically it's an initial, and I'm hard pressed to find a letter in this...a "Y" maybe? Plus, on the bikes I've seen, there's usually a small dot of the pinstripe color.

I wouldn't pay the price of a whole bike just for the body work. Besides it's the wrong color for my R90S.

Still the wrong color if he owns a first year.

Yeah, $745 for the tank seems pretty cheap. Can't explain the sidecovers...
