MKM 1000 Revisited

A couple of months ago I posted some pics of one of the Krauser MKM 1000's that a mate owns. I thought about asking him if he wanted to sell one ( he obviously in need of money to finish his home ) but I declined thinking I knew what his response was.....
Anyway, I took a punt and asked him, and I was right. He has unrealistic notions on what 'his bikes' are worth, either that or he doesn't want to sell them......A bit of both, I think....
Someone else keeps on asking him apparently and he enjoys telling him 'no',,,,lol
He thinks HIS bikes are worth $26 000 each. I looked the net and there's on for sale in QLD for $26 000. This bike is neat, tidy, licensed and running. My mates bikes are partially dismantled, left in old sheds, covered in dust, rusting, unlicensed and no running.s, I me, they are not worth any where near that sort of money.
He just doesn't want to sell them...fair enough.
No one knows what I am talking about when I mention them anyway....lol

It's all about having something that someone else wants. It must be the only way they can feel in control.
Just for fun, I would offer him 25,500
How the hell did he ever get those bikes Sterob?

BTW, he'll never finish his house.

Yeah, they are his Superannuation, but you are right, he will never use them for that.
I don't think I'll bother, They are in too much of a state to pay anywhere near what he wants.
I'm guessing the other guy has already made that sort of offer. He won't even give me a number....If he wan ed to sell I reckon he would have...
He bought one from Motts in Perth ( BMW Dealer ) a few years after they were released. Probably paid about $8000 for it. I don't know how he came across the other one....no doubt he got it for a very good price, at the time.
The second one has a S/Side swingarm, so he is supposed to be taking it back to stock. ( project # 86....)

They both have stock heads, but he has a very ratty R100RS with the 4V heads on he is going to swap over ( project # 93 )
