G/S should have a trip with the button on the face , but the rest looks OK.
Pity they don't do the little 52 mm tacho - the last new one I saw on German Ebay went for Eu 403-

It looks like the /2 replica doesn't have the tic marks for max speed in each gear. My '69 model has it...I presume they did for all years.

Hello !
52 mm dia tacho are available new. I think VDO made some. You won't get the BMW Motometer look but...
I've had a look at the 80 G/S model. Not even close to the real Mc Coy. No trip and more importantly, the way the speedo is hold on the bike instrument cluster is .... gone. Not worth the 60 bucks... IMHO

52 mm tachos are not hard to find, but one that fits into the OEM holder are a bit scarcer - the fixing screws on the Motometer are offset, so stock gauges with central fixings dont fit the OEM holder.
Ordering one that gives the correct reading might a bit of a lottery too - not many cars are flat twins and fire both plugs every stroke.
It is not as simple as you may think as some modern gauges are sensitive enough to pick up more than one signal.
Digital tachos usually have a sensitivity mode where you can reduce the sensitivity so it only reads the loudest signal, and I think this facility might be needed on a analogue gauge, if it is to read correctly.
