Thinking about James got me to thinking about "J".
It's been a pretty long time now, perhaps 10 years, when there was a poster who called himself "J". He was nuts about the RS and owned several. And they were very tasty RS bikes indeed! They included (naturally?) the first '77RS, as well as the Motosport (white with red trim), a golden beauty, and others that I can't remember. Not only did they look immaculate but most sported the so-called 3/4 solo seat.
And he knew a LOT about the RS.
I seem to remember that J posted about getting old and not able to ride the RS bikes like he wanted. He sold most, if not all, of his RS collection. I think he posted that he had now moved to the /2 and earlier BMWs, presumably because they fit better than his RS bikes.
Then he dropped out of sight.
Anybody know anything?

I have been asked a few times if I knew anything. I couldn't think of anything. I guess that I know nothing. That is something.
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

Are you sure? How do you know that?
