That's right, 125cc of arm stretching power. On the upside, it weighs in at 301 lbs with a full tank of gas, and that 13L of gas gives a range of over 300 miles, if you can stay awake that long.

My first reaction was that you should have gotten the new Kawi 300 (there's a big comparo of the 250's in one of the latest cycle mags), but then I saw it was a 125!

I don't think they sell the 125 in the States. I've never seen one, but it sure looks fast sitting still . . . probably faster than it does moving.

What I want to know is why the lower-powered 125 gets the nice box-section frame? Racing class? They are popular in Australia and NZ, as well as India and the Indonesian area, where the 250 is the muscle bike.

It appears the 125 has a beefier duel puck front disk as well. That kind of power needs good brakes.

They both have dual piston calipers, and the same size (296mm) discs.

Interestingly, the http://www.hondamc2013.com/bikes/cbr125r/ site says that the 125 has dual front discs, although the picture clearly shows that it does not, and no other spec lists say it has dual discs. Even HONDA F's up once in a while.

And of the CBR250Rs coming to the USA for 2013, only the Repsol edition does NOT have the ABS option. Weird.

And in Canada the 2013 250 Repsol is ABS only.
