Petcock Leak

76 R90/6...One petcock is all good but one will not quit seeping gas. I have replaced the gaskets, checked the surface for imperfections etc etc and it persists. I still have the in tank stock screens installed and use only one gasket between the screen base and the petcock itself. I have tried different combos (two gaskets, no gaskets, between and betwixt each causing more leakage) to no avail. It is not leaking thru the petcock itself. I am running Barnett fuel filters and am considering dumping the in tank screens all together. I used these petcocks for years with no problem. Your thoughts? I'm getting tired of the explosive odor in the garage...help.
