The Boxerworks.com and Shell Lubricants R75/5 racebike is ready to hit the road to Barber!

Life and other priorities forced a year and a half hiatus from the track, and was able to make it to the AHRMA races at BeaveRun and Virginia International Raceway earlier this summer. While I was gone, some new fast guys joined my class, so I have my work cut out for me.

Greg Rapp is riding shotgun on this trip, and I am excited to finally get him out to the track and let him see the fruits of all his help the past several years.

I will be practicing in Group 3 on Friday (and Saturday and Sunday mornings), and will be in Race 9 (BEARS class) and Race 10 (Airhead Invitational).

Stop on by the paddock and find me! Hope to be on the lowest level to the right of the scoring tower (if we get there in time) or on the second level near the middle-ish part.

Oh yeah, attached are some cool action pics I got at VIR. Vroom, Vroom!

Wish I could be there this year, Stan. I had it all on the radar screen but I'm gonna try to buy a house in the spring and need to hang on to my money. Good luck and be safe!

Hello Stan,

How are those front drum brakes on the track? Do you mind me asking if they are stock or if you modified them in any way...? or went with a more modern shoe compound? Thanks!
