The Silent Hektik FI kit has been around for years. They make high quality stuff from what I hear. Just can't really afford any of it.

Yeah - 2000 Euros - one would have to really hate their carburetors.

I use the silent Hektik ignition on one of my bikes, it is very well made and works well.

Apart from bragging rights, why use an aftermarket FI system? Given the problems that Factories have had when going from carbs to FI, with tractability, surging etc etc I think that there is a reasonable chance that you will end up dropping shed loads of cash for very little result.

Find out what the electrical demands of the FI system is, you might need to drop another 500 euros on the SH uprated alternator.

I searched around their website and it doesn't look like they have a US distributor, too bad.

This looks like one of those improvements that AIN'T.
2000 Euro is enough to buy another bike for myself at the current exchange rate.

Yeah, I bought a brand new bike for only 3000 Euro, and they threw the FI in for "free"!

silent Hektik, will ship to your destination and there will be someone on the end of the telephone that speaks English. If the parts are going outside of the EU, then you don't have to pay 20% VAT, but will pay whatever Import duty is required.

SH seemed to me to be pretty efficient, but nothing has gone wrong yet.....
