The seat strap isn't straight enough! What was he thinking?
If he's going to present it for sale, you'd at least think he could get the strap straight!
How much? With the GFC maybe the only people that can afford these gems already have too much money, so it'll attract a premium, or less than reserve.

I wonder why the screw slots in the tank emblem screws are not aligned!

Personally, I don't believe it for a second.
Does that seat look 47 years old to anyone else? Not to me.
The cylinders look freshly painted, and the heads and valve covers look like they've been painted silver.
The pinstripes don't look right either. I've never seen an original where I couldn't see brush marks, but I'll admit that this may be the results of the photo, rather than the actuality.
It looks like a slightly overdone resto to me, not like original 47 year-old condition at all, even if it really does have 7500 miles. I wouldn't bet my life I'm right, but I certainly wouldn't bet any money I'm wrong.
It is purty

I am with Major on this one. I would like to see it in person.

Duane,
He posted this in his auction "The exhaust pipes are not discolored and the mufflers are not rusted."
The "not discolored" statement seems odd since it has 7,500 miles.
Would you think that is possible?

That means they are aftermarket, not original.

I guess I was in to much of a hurry when I read "Original"
If it has "Original" German air in the tubes? I would probably make an offer!

I went back and reread it as well: "Original Owner-Not Restored ".
So it's the original
OWNER that is not restored. If that works out I could do well over on flea bay. I still have all my original parts, and a lot of them still work.

It certainly is beautiful. But even if it did only have 7500 miles on it, the effect of time would show on it.
