Interesting. If you check Kijiji.com for Sarnia Ontario Canada, these same tanks, (same photos, same wording in the description) are for sale for $575 CDN. I note that the seller on Ebay "may not ship to Canada", yet they are also offered for sale IN Canada. I'd keep my money on this one.

Yeah, no kidding. I've seen these a few years ago go for up to 400 a set. I was lucky a bought a couple sets, one for 200, the other for 250 some years ago.

Over here in Aus it says, 'may not ship to Aus'
Just a default response from Ebay because it was not directly specified in the add, I'd say.

Yeah, I've wondered about how to put two sets on the old /7. Actually have had a set on the '84 RS for about 8 years now.
That's the funniest thing...seems about everyone thinks I only stop between fill-ups. NO...I stop when I need or care to, or else I'm wearing a NASA diaper. Besides, for the past year now, old Eddie (the transformer) has his stock tank on with Luft fairing with the aux. tanks. The Hein Gericke tank is on the top shelf in the garage for a while.
It was kinda fun riding around for a couple of years knowing the bike had a range of around 500 miles. It was great commuting all around Austin -- I didn't have to stop at a gas station every two or three days. Pic near Ken's cabin in eastern Oklahoma...

How much does the Hein Gericke hold. I've got the Heinrich 8.5 gallon, had it for over 30 years now. Can't afford what they cost nowdays!!!

Ten U.S. gallons. Lucky me, got it for buy-it-now for 250. Seen them go for up to 700. That's just crazy.
