Check out this anti-dive setup:

This is my bike, now in Victoria BC, origionally from the UK..On a street bike where suspension is quite nice to have the anti-dive needs to be progressive and allow suspension movement during braking, that is why my linkage has the cantilever. when the caliper is 'tied' directly to the lower fork tree the brake is pulling hard and directly against the fork spring, ie, no suspension, not good! this works fine on a long track like Daytona which is not too bumpy but on short tracks like in England (where my bike was developed) and the street (the ultimate 'short track') The bikes pictured later in the posts are race bikes and probably ridden on smoother surfaces than BC roads. Anti dive like the race bike pics never was very popular, it was common on the little racers up to 125cc that were ridden flat out and by lunatics... However...anti dive on the street... ok the manufacturers have it sorted now but remember the early hydraulic, all or nothing system on the GPZ900R. PS. my anti-dive system looks cools and I admit that is probably what its for...

Is your bike the one in the link in the original post? I'm confused.
