I'm looking for some on-line part sources for my 1993 K1100 RS. Specifically needing brake lines for the beast. I do have Max's link but hope to have some other options. Thnx

Can't help you with K bike parts, but for brake lines you absolutely DO NOT want OEM parts. What you want is the PTFE (Teflon) lined brake hoses with the stainless steel braid. These are typically called "stainless brake hoses".

Two sources:
► Galpher

Specials are not a problem

► Fragola
I order mine though Race Part Solutions (561-375-6277). Then you build up the AN-3 hoses with the AN-3 fittings you need from the catalog.

Hints:
• You must buy hoses with the vinyl outer sheath or the bare stainless braid will eat its way through any plastic or fiberglass the line touches. I like black since it makes the hose look like OEM.

• Buying one long hose that takes the place of all the OEM solid and flexible hoses is often cheaper and easier in the long run. A single hose is also easier to bleed.

• Do not buy stainless steel banjo bolts. They are WAY too soft and will break.

Galfer lines are nice. I used them on a Honda not too long ago. Excellent quality.
