+1 I know for sure it's real hard on the alloy rims of spoked wheels...

I (more than once) found that I could pull the chair up before a (quiet neighborhood) 'S' curve, and once on two wheels the bike would behave just like a two-wheeler. As long as I maintained the balance with the car in the air, I could maneuver through the curves with the greatest of ease!
