Oilhead Special Tools

Post by jimmyg »

Doing some maintenance on my '04 RT this winter and I'm in the middle of replacing the Paralever bearings in the rear end.

I need to hold the inner pin with a 12mm hex wrench while doing the final torque on the locknut and was wondering if anyone makes a special tool to hold the adjustment pin from turning while torquing the nut?

I envision a 30mm deep dish socket (1/2" drive) that has a portion cut-out to insert the allen so it can be held.

Or would I just have to make one myself?

thanks,

jimmyg
