That may actually be a plus.

I don't think so.
Installed right, those things are really bad ass. The problem with them is that they were not a bolt on item, and few even knew how to correctly make the modifications, much less have the skills and equipment.
I'd love to have Krauser heads if I KNEW they'd been installed by someone who really knew what they were doing.

Same reason Chuey and some others here like cafes: there's a certain joy to be had from getting "more" (of whatever one wants) out of a machine than the manufacturer intended. I know not everyone gets joy from that, but lots of folks certainly do. Lots of Airhead people don't subscribe to that and get their joy out of appreciating the factory machine for what it was designed to do well. I completely understand that as well, as that was how I appreciated my /2.
Chuey is one of the few people I know who seems to have a very similar appreciation of both ideas - similar to my own, I mean. Perhaps that's why I feel such a connection to him - that and the fact that we're both far more Socialist than the average Liberal, which is just a little ironic since he's a small business owner. It also (I think) is why we manage to always (so far) find common ground again, even after we have strong disagreements.
Different people enjoy these bikes for different reasons. None of them are wrong (well, except maybe for some really F'd up bike pictures we've seen...).

Ah, a rebel eh' Major!
I should have been more specific than a one word post.
As far as I know the krauser heads are a pain in the ass. Even if set up by a guru, they're only going to run so long before they need to see the guru again.
I can see them as being useful on the racetrack only, for x laps.
I sure as hell get more out of a stock RS than was ever intended.
and as for Chuey, well he's a human businessman.
