Thanks, that's a good article. I knew a lot about the difference between DOT and Snell (mostly from the Motorcyclist articles about two years ago), but I didn't know much at all about the ECE standard.

I have been looking lately at getting another helmet.

I wear my Arai XD mostly. I am missing my Schuberth flip up more than I thought I would.
The new C3 and C3 Carbon with the new SRC system (bluetooth communication system) is
catching my eye. BUT! $699 for the helmet and $399 for the SRC makes for an expensive
set up.
