Rear shocks mount conversion help
I want to do a modification that I have seen on a few other airheads. I want to remove the sub-frame and install new longer shocks pivoting the tops forward to mount where the old sub-frame bolted to the frame. I see what you're saying and that makes sense. I checked what you were talking about and I can't seem to figure it out. I replaced my tail light and rear turn signals with a combo LED strip and I wired in the appropriate resistors for the turn signals. All the wiring for this circuit is pretty simple. All this started because I need a new ignition switch (missing key). All the parts for this total up to $17 as apposed to $150-$200 for replacement switch. Contrary to how it sounds this is actually a very simple design (unless I missed something) and would be very easy to bypass in the field to dia...

This is more of a novelty project. It will only help prevent someone from driving off with it. I understand that if someone really wants it they can just load it up haul it off.
