Cleaned up the contact surface on the clutch lever switch, lubed it up with some "snake grease" I got at the auto parts store and it works fine now. Hopefully that's the last of it.

Re: New neutral switch, still won't start in gear.
Clutch handle switch I remember (now) a friend telling me of clutch handle switch problems some number of years back. I'll look into that. Thanks for the feedback. Of course I still am feeling pretty good about the new neutral switch too.

New neutral switch, still won't start in gear.
Decided to replace the neutral switch on the '93 R100RT I bought last fall. Put the new switch in - still won't start in gear. Wiring looked okay, but maybe it wasn't. Any one else experience such a thing. Thanks.

Race Tech Emulators & Ohlins Shock on '93 R100RT
Recently had Cartridge Emulators installed on my '93 RT. Rode the bike some and the front end seemed better, but the rear shock was trashed. Kind of hard to gauge things with the rear end pogoing around. Had an Ohlins BM 053 installed yesterday (both upgrades done by a pro). Took the bike for about ...

Re: '93 R100RT Questions
Thanks for all of the feedback RE: front wheel/caliper removal, brake lines & etc. I just put a new front tire on so have some time to contemplate the matter. Also had Race Tech cartridge emulators installed and will be fitting an Ohlins shock in the next few days. We'll see how that works out. ...

Re: '93 R100RT Questions
I don't break apart the brake lines when I change a tire or anything in the front. After the front wheel is removed, I'm able to remove and set aside both caliper connected as one unit. [/quote] I've always taken the calipers off so the rim would clear. I would like to hear how you do it, because I...

Re: '93 R100RT Questions
. . . 3) Can I fit the earlier brake "splitter" and steel lines to the fairing and then have 2 flexible lines from the fairing to the calipers, eliminating that God awful U-pipe connecting the front calipers. Thanks for any and all input. . . . Hmmm, I'm wondering what you find objectiona...

'93 R100RT Questions
Hello All. I used to frequent this site (mostly lurked) a few years back under the name Robert C. Kind of got out of the internet for awhile but thought I would rejoin the community. I recently bought a '93 RT - I have an '81 R100RT that I have been riding for 13 years, I may be a bit ham handed, bu...
